Tòo funny! I thought you had done a typo and meant nineteen eighty-six but then I saw the box. What a piece of history there.

Cheers Steve and aussie muscle.

I decided being an old vehicle that I would brush her,the prob being I  had a stroke a few years back leaving my right side pretty useless,so brushing is a  REAL pain dexterity wise - to give an idea try sitting wrng till yr arm goes numb and then try brushing with it....Not looking for sympthy - stuff that! just saying what's what.

Part painted.

That's pretty amazing, we've sure come a long way with our cars.  Your brush painting looks fine, Nigel, and also realistic because I bet Karl didn't spray the original.  Cheers.

Unfortunately, the Japanese company Bandai (and US-based Minicraft) mislabeled this one: It was designed and built by Gottlieb Daimler, and designated as just plain Daimler. Jakob Benz was a contemporary of Daimler, but the two companies did not merge to become Daimler-Benz until the late 1920's.
