Very nicely done . A friend had a red one of these ( a few years difference ) and when he told me it had a (UK) Bedford van engine I laughed " Lotus...& Bedford ??" ....... Until he " took me for a blast" in it .

Nice looking S1 Esprit. I see you went for that awesome mint green and flame orange interior. Nice clean work on this build. I have often wondered what these Nishimo Esprit kits built up like. I almost pulled the trigger on one of these a couple of times until Fujimi released theirs, which was a lot cheaper.

I have the new Fujimi Esprit S1 on the bench right now. I was just painting up some spoons trying to find the right shade of green for the seats. I think I'm closing in on it. I hope it turns out as well as yours.

Beautiful! How is this kit to build?

gulftarpon, the Nishimo kit is very simple, no engine and the chassis has a battery cover with poor details, but the body and interior are well proportioned.
