BMW E46 M3 model build
Posted by JeroenM3 on Thursday, October 12, 2017 6:40 AM

I'm new here on the forum, and since a short while active in the model world. Ive done some builds before, but those were always recreations of my own cars, but now ive decided to build even more, while looking for new hobbies ;)

However there has always been 1 specific car that i have owned that i still have not found a plastic model of. Like the title suggests, its a BMW E46 M3 (coupe). I've heard in my local modelshop that Revell dit make them at one point, but that they are not available for order anymore. Does anyone know where to find one, or know of a brand that still makes a plastic model of the E46 M3? much appreciated!

Looking forward to alot of fun future builds!

A few minutes of research and I found this link.  This sounds like a race version from the Nurburgring, but you might be able to convert it to a stock version.

A suggestion, try Googling BMW E46 M3 and see what other links are offered.

yeah i tried searching, but didnt find anything as a build model, however at the modelshop i was today i asked them and they told me that revell made a model kit of the E46 M3, hence why i asked here, hoping someone might have one still laying around or knows of one somewhere :)

Ive seen the thread you posted, however none of the photo links work sadly

There are no E46 M3 kits in 1/24 scale. Dragon/Revell had an E36. Big difference. I'm not sure if there was even a 1/24 diecast E46, there were lesser coupes but I don't think they were M3's.
