I remember as kid riding in the back of one. The floor space was so big i could sit down there and play. I would drive one every where. Hell you could live in one of these monsters.

What a beautiful build . Your talents shine through again . I'll share this , when I Drove a Car Hauler for Anchor Motor Freight . A Kalamazoo load was a possiblilty for return Runs from West of that terminal . The Standard Trailer of the day back then was the "7 Car" . When a load of Checkers was hauled , only 5 were loaded . These are so heavy , 6 made the gross weight over the legal limit of 80 k . This pretty much explaines why Checkers are niot seen in Comptition . Demolition Derbies these like :Win . I am in awe once again .. Thanx ..

Saw yesterday in Indy a Checker 4 door pickup! Really well done, was used by a remodelling contractor.
