me too I try to get at close as possible part of the fun. I like the silver blue metalic on the 58  color chip but I got to see what Irma dose

here is the chevy 348 cu in engine. I just started the wiring taking a break form IRMA prep.     i removed the chrome from vavle covers ,alt ,crabs and aircleaner painted and gave a black wash.

Looking good. Just one suggestion, on a factory stock engine, black or dark gray ignition wires would be more correct.

1st booboo! the blue/sliver mist metalic lookd real good in the mixing jar but I couldnt get the same shade on the the body. In the purple pond it goes!

 Well at least the purple pond will help . I haven't built one of those since they stopped offering opening doors . O.C.G.    P.S. I noted your engine seemed cleaner than my real one . Did you remember , that engine leaked some at the valve cover gaskets ? Even when less than a year old ?

Looks good, Niko! Watch out for that spare tire well. It may stick out below the body at the right rear. I cut out the middle layer of plastic attached to the interior as I remember, so that I could push the chassis floor up in the body. Looking good so far! Cool Thumbs Up

masked the door pannels and sprayed with tamiya aluminum. Then masked again and sprayed with metalic blue mm. (body color).Removed mask and give seats and floor clear flat.
