That car is so iconic all it needs is a nice set of rims on the stock body

I'm not necessarily a '57 Chevy fan. I'm also not a big '55 fan. I actually prefer the '56. I know, I'm an oddball when it comes to those three cars. Any of the three made gassers are right up my alley. I'm following your build because of the weathering/aging of the engine. While I will build pretty much every one of my cars without any of those effects, I do like what you've done. It looks very realistic. Great job, Niko!

Thank you moparlover64 . I also like molar of the 60's I still can hear them going up and down my street in conn. But that was many moons ago but I have a soft heart for Chevy up to 74. Well today is hot and very humid not a good day to airbrush.

I have to ask;  What do you use to weather your engines? The way you've done it is very realistic. The next time I weather an engine I plan on trying Tamiya smoke. I have seen some great effects from the guys who use that. The other thing I will do is be patient and apply the weathering gradually over the course of a few days as per the latest scale auto article. Can't wait to see the body done. Looks like you may have to do it up to match the engine though!  lol
