The vinyl roof is actually more detailed than the pic indicates.
Waiting for the non shark tooth grille, and whitewalls with basic hubcaps.
Gonna weather it up more, add the shoulder seat belts, and such. And I have the trim ready to attach.
Didnt bevel the trunk for a true '72. It's way too complicated. If I ever get a MPC '72 Duster kit, I will either repalce the body, or cut out and add the trunk. (Didnt glue in the chassis to body for that reason) Also need the proper side mirrors
Love it. I have the makings for one of these too, but it is sitting on the shelf of never-to-be-built kits. Maybe someday......
Thank you. Bandit Resins came uo big with a proper grille. Got their enail today
Neat, looking forward to seeing more! I did one, though I never got around to correcting to tires:

I used that as a reference! LOL! Great job.
Where did you get the correct grille?
The correct Side Mirror?
We both need to add the bumper with rubber pads
Are you the one who opened the trunk on it?
You got the right wheels, it looks like. What kit?
Planning a whole Bundy collection. The blue "dodge" ('73 Duster) and the red one after the brown car was washed, and the '76 green Gremlin he had
Thanks! You're right, I forgot about the bumper. I have a few models that were going to get minor touch-ups in the next couple of weeks, I should add this to the list and get those details fixed. Yup, I opened the trunk on mine:
I got my grille from A/FX N Scale Resin back before...whatever it was that happened to them. It was the last order I received from them, actually. No idea where the mirror came from, it was something from my parts box that looked correct.
The wheels aren't quite right, but they were the closest I could find. I got them from an old MPC Dodge van kit.
That sounds great, I'd like to see more Bundy builds! I've been thinking about parking a diecast first-gen Viper next to this...not necessarily one of their cars, but they came really close that one time
I'd LOVE to find one of those old MPC '72 and '73 Duster kits.
We need whitewalls :)
I can send you a Polk High Football bumper sticker I made :) Just print it out and stick it on the back. Also made a No M'aam sticker :)
UPDATE:
Found the correct Bundy Dodge grille, 4 bucks! Guy does nice work. When I suggest he make a '67 LeMans hood for the '67 GTO, I expected to see it on his website the next day! Is it me?

Not the most talkative dude, but he delivers.
Also: You can get the correct '72 style trunk from the AMC '75 Dodge Dart Sport kit (cheapest option, kit is widely available, only 15 bucks at Michaels crafts) Also comes with a figure you can convert to Al Bundy (now THAT is something I can do! Cake Walk for a wargaming miniature figure painter)
If Spencer can come up with where he got the Bundy hubcaps (An "old Dodge Kit" is kinda vague ) we are back in business!
Thanks to Spencer for giving me the down low on cutting out the tricky trunk on a '71 AMT Duster!
Spence, I'm scratchbuilding the rubber Bumper pads. I'll send you some when I get it right.
I was just kinda kidding, Spencer. I'll come up with them when I come up with them. So base option, there just arent many kits that include the low end stock wheels and such...
I Did get the proper whitewalls in the mail today, and found the correct side view mirror
