Chrysler's famous " Turbine Car "
Posted by oldcarguy on Saturday, October 22, 2016 8:00 PM

 Hi ;

 I am sure that everyone is acquainted with this vehicle . You know I got to looking at mine on the shelf and thought , like many I am sure , What else could've been done with this body ?

    So I dug out a glue bomb I got some years back . It was molded in " Purple " ? Now , take the roof off carefully .(this roof looks great on on other cars ).

     Then take the very delicate vents off the front fenders and replace with well done Louvers . In the back replace the tailights with T-Bird units from 1958 .One on each side . In place of the turbine thingys back there .In front take the grill out .Replace with blackened diamond screening and two smal bars ( one near the top , One near the bottom ) with the Chrysler emblem on a bar , also floating , in the center .

 Replace the seats with Buick Riviera seats from two cars ( we want four buckets .Then use the Roadster cover from the late model T - Bird ( 62 I think ) and use it as a cover for the retracted top . Take the Tubular console and replace it with a custom full length console with a wood center from front to back .

 Add drink holders and other stuff . There , now except wheels and powerplant we're done . Powerplant ? How about a Viper engine with front blower and Wire wheels backed by Brumbo discs . Does this give anyone ideas ? Good , Go For It ! ! ! O.C.G.
