An awesome kit to build. This one is nearly 20 years or so old...

It's really cool to have kits around from that long ago as they are reminders of where we came from in modeling. I've still got builds that are almost 40 years old.(although there were a couple of them that I went all the way through. Wink

Another good looking build BTW.

Being really stupid is the new smart!!

Not trying to hi-jack this post, but you're correct, Daytona. For the year of 1963, all new vehicles sold in the United States were required to have amber parking/turn signal lamps. This could/was accomplished with an amber lense or a clear lense, amber bulb. BTW, real nice Fairlane 500! Thumbs Up Fury3

MY 1963 , yes Amber Lenses required . Amber bulbs available in the '65 MY IIRC . J C Whitnet was he first Nationwide Parts Vendor to sell Amber Lenses for older model cars . In the December 1962 Parts Catalog to be exact . Thunder Road weas filmed in 1956 IIRC .

The Black Walled Tires . Perfect on the baseline Revenuers Cars .  Heapie Cheapie Fleet Tires . Explains why non car Federal Revenuers guys had so many blowouts and crashes . 'Shiners ran White Walls on Clean , well kept  , shiney , incogneto high dollar Cars . Premuim White Walled Tires BTW . Regardless , this is a respectable Replica . Eyecandy "Where's the keys ?" Thanx ..
