A change of pace from the Porsches, Ferraris and Corvairs that I've built so many of, this old Celica GT looks like it's going to be fun. If someone has a kit of an old domestic-market Japanese car, I've got a 60's Avanti kit to trade.

That sure does look like fun! I remember back in the late 60's MPC released a kit of a Toyota, I don't remember what model it was, but I do recall that it had a clear roof. Boy did I mess that one up! Anyways , enjoy!Big Smile

That's a well-styled little coupe. There are a lot of directions you could go with that model. Seeing it makes me want one too!

A buddy's mother used to have one of these back in the 70s. She worked as a teacher at my school, and along a BMW 2002ti touring it was the only exiting car in the teachers parking lot. She is now in her 70s, and drives a first gen. MR2...

Thanks for the comments! The kit arrived yesterday (quick, huh?) and I'm gleefully ringing my hands in anticipation of the build....
