Remember this one? This must be the third time I've done it up,(twice as a kid),
finnaly got the paint job decent! This the AMT reissue. The trailer came with it.

When I was a boy this kit was the coolest thing on wheels, & a real bear to paint!

I got the reissue just for the trailer. I'm going to build the car for the trailer and hook it behind a 72 Chevy Pickup. Looks real good tho.

That kit is sitting on my LHS shelf, and I'm tempted.
Thanks for showing me another tease, Ken. Good job!

The chassis is typical mid 60's, front & rear suspension, molded as one piece with the frame, in other words detail is basically nonexistent. Creative detail painting brings a little life to it. Maybe I'll take another pic of the undercarriage so you folks can see what I mean.

The "Fireball" makes a great gravity drag car, lol. It's a simple "build and play" kit.
The one thing i didn't like about it (and mine is currently under construction) is the fuel filler cap.
It's a flip top and is way to big for scale. I had one from my AAR Cuda' kit that fits it much better.
Thank goodness for the Challenger parts on that parts tree.

From what i have read the 500 is the kit people are using, but i'm using a Futura. But for the Radir Wheels, you need the 500.
I am not sure if any other kits have Radir's.
