Shaping up very nicely! I build my garages out of plywood (floors),and a product called foamcore for the walls.Foamcore is a piece of styrofoam covered with card stock on each side. It's strong, yet light and easy to cut for windows and doors. When I install an overhead door I use Evergreen plastic siding stock.. I like the use of the floor tiles, office area, right? Hope to see more pictures soon WOLF

So were talking garages, eh?

I think this is about the fifth time I've posted here. I tend to spend most of my time at the Hobby Heaven site.

The advent of the internet and photo hosting sites compelled me to build a little something so that I could take some decent pics of my models.

Thus, The Can Am Garage was born.

It's basically a 30"x20" box with lots of little details added. Whenever I add something to the shop, I always keep the camera in mind. The big blue lift is fully operable and is made by GMP diecast.

I expanded about a month ago and added similarly sized showroom.

Here's an over view of the two dioramas.

The flooring in the shop is black and white shelf paper while the floor in the showroom is ganite and black shelf paper.

Nice garage,John !Nice lift. I think I have to shore this Fujimi lift of mine to the floor. I tested a few cars on it and they're a bit heavy and keeping a car for a long period on it may not be good.
Wish I had space for one that big.
Heck,I'm not even sure where this one is gonna go ! Dead

Thanks for the kind words folks!

Jared, the lift comes from GMP diecast - http://www.gmpdiecast.com If you want one, it'll cost you about $40 for one but it's worth every penny.
