Grampa Munster's Drag-U-La

I opened the box yesterday and finished it today! I couldn't improve on the sparkling gold plastic it was cast in so I left it without paint, except for the engine and drive train that I painted Inca Gold. I also painted the front tires (plastic) and the drag chute. The slicks are from the parts box. Sadly I have no Firestone slicks so I will have to add decals. But this was just a fun build to start the new year. Now I have one done! Thanks for looking! Cool

If you cannot have a good time, what kinda time can you have? JR

Next on the bench:  Another 1970 Hemi 'Cuda, 1958 Chevy Impala, 1987 Buick GNX, 1950 Chevy Pick-up, Indy Reynard, 1965 Corvette, probably not in this order.

That was fast JR.  I'm away for a few days and you bang this one out.  Does that mean it was in fact, less challenging? Big Smile  Does that mean you are now on to a brain twisting, scratch built masterpiece? Smile

Whatever you do, I'm on board.  Love your builds.

Just keep picking away at it...

Thanks, mmthrax! Yes, this was less challenging as I didn't paint it, no foil, and just a few parts. I don't build novelty or show cars very often but every once and a while its a nice break! Thanks for looking! Cool
