Chopped mk1 mini.

This started out as an experiment on doing a roof chop on a mini and in the end I sectioned the body too,it went well enough but I just couldn't get the roof to smooth down.............

So I used it as a test bed for a fade paint job and flames etc,it started with white primer on the shell with a fade into red primer towards the rear followed by Ford electric orange. The flames were done with a mask and various shades of silver, orange and red were added, plus a bit of Sharpie outlining.

Superb! It reminds me of this photo of Stirling Moss getting ready to test one of the Minisprint prototypes at Silverstone, where I was a marshall for about 25+ years....
