Got the wings boxed in and the engines on.

Got the wing end boxed in and a winglet? from the original wing tip addeda bit of filler which will be sanded as when....

Got both wings done,one winglet to do.

 

Office fitted..

 

Tail and rudder assembled.

 

As I am going to do her as a transport/freighter she is butotned up,going to spray over the portholes.

 

Just a mockup...

This is interesting, Nigel.  At 1/72 scale, how big is this thing?  I admit I had to look up 'Ekranoplan', now I know all about the Caspian Sea Monster.  Cheers.

Got the rudder on.

 

Followed by the tails.

 

As she is going to be a post war transport,the tail gun has been sealed off.

 

Changed the winglets - for a reason...

You know, even with all you've done to this kit, it still looks better than any of the actual Italian bombers in WW 2. LOL And I think you are a brave man to go at a kit in that manner. But then, I too have had visions in my head of a project that I MUST make a reality. Best of luck. Looking forward to this one!
