That's gonna be one "HEAVY" trike.

Dont worry about the thumb print.... paint it rust and call it battle damage.

Soon to be on the bench...

LOVE this idea :-

I just cut up the remains of my 50 Merc custom - Tongue Tied Don't ask.... Crying

I then upside downed the trunk / boot lid , covered it in a foam 'cushion' & and turned it into a sofa for my diorama !!!! & did a 'pick up bed table' using lolly sticks for the 1x4 table top ! . I have many ....MANY.... scraps I'm 'up cycling' . Embarrassed

Hmmm;

I kinda thought you might be going that way . That's gonna be a heavy nose . I hope you make adjustments for it accordingly . Interesting !

Dont worry I know my trikes.

Started on the suspension etc.

Any old wheels will do for now!

I have moved the engine mount back and built a new tranny mount as well as moving the frame rails inwards at the front.

Here is a better pic of the 'plastic pig'

Been working on the steering, thinking back to my triking day and was building an XS750 engined trike it had shaft drive via a seperate bevel box = basically a uj in a sealed box giving a 90 degree turn.

So one steering box and two bevel boxes later....

In true trike fashion she needs tuning! so a resin air filter does the job.

Then it was a case of closing off the rockers.

Woke up to a disaster, last night I used some spot glazing putty to tidy up the chassis rails - well a crop landed n a wheel and had a good old munch!!

Back axle..

Made 3 pedals from old p.e. and plastic card.

How she looks...

A better view of the pedals, molotowed the cam cover and air filter.

A mechanical shot.
