My latest purchase ... Holy grail Revell kit from 1959
Posted by Dale Gribble on Thursday, February 15, 2018 10:59 PM

Just picked this up tonight . A buddy of mine found it in his grandparents attic .a mutual friend mentioned how he remembered me wanting this kit for my collection . I'm a builder , so rest assured this will get built , and will not sit around gathering dust in the box . This was issued in 2 box variants in 1959 and never reissued . Aside from some very minor and easy fixable damage to the reactor , it's a mint unbuilt kit complete down to the string for power lines .

"rare" kit? no such thing!

build it, dont let it sit on the shelf.....

you cant take it with you, hearses dont have luggage racks......

That is pretty wild.  I had no idea they had anything like that.  Should be fun.

Just keep picking away at it...

O  M  G !!!

You do realise that you could send your kid through collage if you sold it ?

But , I'm like you. I build em ! Let the "collector's " cry foul ! L O L !

Dont worry about the thumb print.... paint it rust and call it battle damage.

Soon to be on the bench...

Rarest Revell kit ever? No such a thing! I just decided I hate you. Wink

My favorite color is clear. I am also ambidexterous, I can screw up equally well with either hand. I am 53 years old and been building for most of that time. :)

On the bench... somewhere. Pink Panther show car, 1978 Dodge Magnum Charger Daytona Midnight edition SE 300. Mongrel T.
