This is just a test of more homebrewed decals I've printed. I find/see various patterns designs across the internet and copy a few at a time. This measures the right amount of gloss clear that I've laid up onto the decal paper after printing from my PC.

They look good after a coat of gloss clear on the bodyshell after laying up, to keep them from drying out and peeling off.

It also saves buying aftermarket at around £16 per sheet, and printable decal paper with a white or clear background is 10 sheets for about £10!

Now that is groovy man!  My grand daughter would love that vehicle. Looks like you are developing quite the skill with printing your own decals

Feelings are like scents: The more they are analyzed, the worse they smell.

Thanks justmike. Yes I love decals to start with but to be able to print what you want is great.

Heres an idea , photograph some 'rusty panel' and print that out !it doesn't even need to be neat ! A lot easier than stippling and all the hard work of multi layering , then matt clear on top ! ..... oh I should have copyrighted that one.... LOL

Yes Spencer Mopar Fan, just copy photo's into a Pictures file and print onto decal paper...

Just go to Google, and enter 'Images of..' and ask what you want to see, 'Copy and past to your Pictures file' etc.

This is one of my 'Dually Pickup' builds, all of the cab is mixed home printed 'rusty' decals...

On here they are not in scale but copy and paste the image to a Word document and touch the image and lines and circles appear. Put the cursor on the bottom right hand corner circle and move the mouse diagonally 45 degrees towards the top left hand corner, which will reduce the size of the image or do the opposite to increase the image.
