Zombie killer w/poetry and graphics
Posted by Old Geezer on Saturday, May 13, 2017 7:08 AM

This build has been shown only at Skids Place, so may be new to some of you.

Been shying away from the zombie aspect in my apocalypse series, but now the time is ripe and I'm calming the festering in my brain.

Some time ago. I got into some zombie poetry with one of my grandsons...Limericks and Haiku. Unless Skid sits on me, I'll be boring you all with some of them as I build." A mind is a terrible thing to waste", I think I can prove that mine has been wasted for some time !

The zombie who’s known as Abdul

Was renown in the mosque as a fool.

Virgins he claimed ,

after being horribly maimed

Were useless ‘cause he blew off his tool.

Gathering stuff that I may be using.

I'll be using the Willys body (that's all I have of it) and one of those hoods, The gold plastic frame of unknown origin, pickup box (for gathering up the carcasses), and that yellow auger type tool ( whatever that came from )!

 Grave yard gate looms big

Skinbags passing other side

Tee Hee, I'll jump out

*The hair on old Voodoo Fred

in it’s prime, was a glorious red.

It’s now not so grand

and the one final strand

is wound  into one single dread.

Fitted a floorboard to the frame.

Trimming the frame to the body.

Will try to shoehorn this big block in !

Fitting a front clip.

There was this old zonked out biker

Who stopped and picked up a  hiker.

Her skin was in shreds,

her hair was in dreads.

Dude said, ”It's  cool ‘cause I like ‘er

It's a chore to find a pair of matching backing plates to fit these tires.

I changed the engine from the ratty 429. Found a smaller decent one and put on a set of Red Ram valve covers. Back on the rear kickup you can see the out- of-sight carnage I inflict as I try to get something to hang a rear end assembly on.

Intermingling

Our flesh oozes together

Zombie passion burns

There was a young zombie that died

by eating something she’d fried.

She went to Saint Peter,

He stepped out to greet her,

And said something about his Rolodex and screwed up the whole meter, so I’ll set this whole limerick aside

Trying to fit up several hoods to this Willys. This 48 Ford is the closest, but still not good enough for further messing with ! I'l get some better (serious) induction and go hoodless !!

No shroud drapes my bones

Tank top din't quite fill the bill

Shocked the vampires

The zombies came on like a flood.

Walking  and slogging thru mud.

Their feet were all caked,

and their skin was all flaked.

And , generally, they all looked like crud!

Not much new. Working on getting the frame on wheels. Shortening a PU bed ( less carcasses to hold, but looks better)

Oh, the mummys and freaks and  the ghouls

And zombies cavorting in schools.

Are dancing around in the night.

Creating a horrible fright.

While their flesh drips and gathers in pools.

Minimal effort interior bout done. Frenching in a set of 40 Ford headlight rims, and working on the  WEAPON.

Full moon out tonight

Hairy wolf has made his change

Spored my mold on him

Half off price huge sale

Brand new jar of Skin So Soft

Big waste of money

I seldom include figures with my builds ( I try to avoid a toy like appearance), but I'm trying to make a load for the ZK's bed. 1st attempt is with a rubber Halloween skeleton. Too big of a scale. However, I removed one arm, thinking to have it dangling out from under a tarp.

Next inspiration was to check  my 'bone' stash.  EUREKA !! There was a mummified mouse skeleton! I can use this !!

Too long for the small bed, but withe tarp idea, I can use the torso/ Severed it at the spine and will try to detail the back of the mouse's skull, trimming odd the nose part. Couple scraps of rag, and I might make this halfway presentable.

At a party called, ”Smoke what you brung”

We filled a glass bong full of dung.

A bunch of dead folks,

the butt of our jokes,

foiled us for lack of a lung.

The fragile Zombie has been put to bed. If the sun continues to shine today, here in Florida, I'll get some finish fotos. There you will be able to see the WEAPON, in all of it's sinister glory ! It has only been hinted at in an earlier foto.

[center]As along in the Willys I sped

I spied a line of the dead

They were led by a smokin hot jogger

But I mowed them ALL down with the auger

And threw them all back in the bed

These are the finish fotos and the last of my lame poetry that I'll foist upon y'all. Had fun with this !

Eye sockets see nil

Forehead flesh hangs way too low

Stubbed my big toe bone
