Around 1967 or 1968, I built some extremely small scale model cars. Its been 50 years but I remember that these model cars had few parts and the parts may not have been on trees. They took maybe 2 minutes to assemble and were held togther with one small screw. I had 4 or 5 but the only one I remember in detail was a mustang.

Don't know what they where called in the late 60s but I know Ertl made some in the 90s sometime and where called minute models.

I remember Mini Lindy by Lindberg. I'm not sure they're what you are talking about. Google it, there's a lot of info.

Thanks Jeff! You nailed it! They even had a scent that was all their own!

No problem. I built a few of them, when I was a kid. They pop up, on eBay, from time to time.

Yeah, me too. I have heard a lot about Mini Lindys over the years but have never seen one. I do have a 1/87 Monogram 69 Mustang that I bought new in the early 90s that is probably quite similar.

I just did a google search for Mini-Lindy. I am surprised at the large variety of models that were produced.
