Thanx for showing these, Tony, you are fortunate to still have the old builds, and I recommend that you hang onto them.  I regret the 'tidy up' we had 30-something years ago when my rough childhood builds from the 60's were taken to the tip and dumped.  I sometimes see old kits built or saved on this site and think.... 'Damn, I had one of those!'

Cheers

Yup, same here. I remember mostly all of them but don't know what happened to most of them. When I was 15 we moved away and I gave some to friends as momentos, and when I was 18 with a real car and a girlfriend I thought I was done with modelling and gave a large cardboard box of parts and wrecked kits to a freind who was still building, but all of that can only account for about half of them. Fortunately I still have a handful of builts left from my mid-teens.

I agree, when I turned 16 and started driving my models went to the landfill, I respect anyone who had the foresight to hold onto their old models. "Priceless"
