HO cars
Posted by Anonymous on Wednesday, January 7, 2004 9:51 AM
Is there anyone else who likes the HO cars, like Herpa, Brekina etc.? I have built many a transkit Herpa. Extremely hard, but great when done. Easy to display. Hard on your eyes and tweezers are a must. Smile
Thank goodness for magnifiers!

leif, there are some here in ohio, made by a company called classis motor works. they are pre-built die-cast cars and trucks, they have high detail and offer alot of different subjects. years ago when i was into ho r.r., i used to buy kits of cars and trucks from a local hobby shop, dont recall the name of the kits, but i do remember it had a ford starliner, and a few older chevys.they were great kits, but like you said, hard on the eyesSmileSmile

You should check out a company called Jordan. They make great HO scale kits, though all of them depict cars older than 1940. Both trucks ans smaller cars are available, and even a couple of Hot Rods. This is my HO '28 Ford model A:
