Posted by Anonymous on Sunday, December 28, 2003 3:14 PM
Hey everybody i dont know if this is in the right forum or not but if isnt just steer me to the right direction. Anyways some of you might be know Ghostbusters well we all know the right car but me and my dad did something a little diffrent. If your know the movie you know the scene outside the firehouse where Ray comes back with a 1959 Cadillac MM Combination and it needs alot of work well check this out.
My Version

Movie Version

Now in the future where going to build a junkyard / Used car lot for that car like thats where the character bought the car. I hope you all like it!

well done! i like to see somebody think outside the lines like that.

I went to a "gentleman's club" because the sign said they had all the hottest models. I thought it was a hobby shop. Man, was I ever disappointed.

Thank you for the nice comments! Heres another pic

Later on today i will take more pics of the car to show you the car. Also the car above sint done we got to figure out what we can use for the Cadilac logo on the hood. Oh me and my dad built it out of the Polor Lights Ecto-1 model kit so we built new windows, made curtians. Are next project is Ecto-1, were going to out a 59 caddy engine in it, a stretcher. Then where going to find a AMT Ecto-1a model kit and built that. Basicly it be the evolution of the Ectomobile

great job! the only thing i can suggest is maybe putting a matte or flat coat on the wheels. they look too shiney. also, you might want to change the head lights from red, to a regular clear/yellowed lense, beacause thats what it looks like from the picture, but i could be wrong. if youre going for the look of the car from the movies or just a plain old junker car thats what i would do.
