Posted by truckaddict on Monday, January 25, 2010 3:55 PM

As fas as i know nobady makes one of these kits, or any year nissan harbody at the 1/24 or 1/25 scale.  I was wondering if anyone has converted another kit into one of these and what you used as a base, and if you can post any pics

I don't know 1:24 or 1:25 scale, I'm pretty sure your out of luck with them, but I do know  Lindburg did one in 1:20 scale. I think this is the style your looking for:

I remember back in the late 90's there was a nissan pickup 4x4 made. It had a brush guard, rollbar and was molded in blue.

I remember this because I have 7 stitch marks on my left hand middle finger from trying to cut off the fender flares for another project and sliced my finger to the bone. Let's just say I won't do that again. Suprisingly enough, it didn't hurt.

I do remember however that it was a larger scale, I think that 1/20 might be close to the right one. The wheels I still have as well as the whole dash of the truck. Tires are long gone, but they were monsters compared to the small truck tires I used to have with my 55 cameo's and 56 fords.

Great truck though, good detail if I remember right.

Don't cut yourself,

King

highway76,  is that a kit that you have, and if so is it one your willing to part with in cash or trade.   I have been driving a 4 cyl, 2wd, version of that truck for many years, and earlier tonight i wrapped it around a poll, so now i want a model of one worse than ever.

that being said if anyone has one at the 1/24 or 25 scale id love a few of those two for various projects

Truckaddict, sorry to hear about your truck, and yes, this is one of the models in my collection, but I'm sorry, I do not want to part with it. I had problems myself finding this one to rebuild a collection I lost in a fire about 10 years ago. I do, though, have the Nissan dually kit that Lindburg released and may be willing to part with it, and I believe that the dually fenders are separate from the bed, so you would be able to a stock version as the pic I sent earlier.  These trucks are both V-6 equipped 4x4 models, and being 1:20 scale, you may not be able to build an exact match to your truck. Let me check the dually out, because I'm not really sure if it is a complete kit, It may be missing parts!!!

By the way, kingalbrect79, the dually version of that kit was molded in blue, as I have it, too. It did have a brushguard and rollbar.

i certianly would be interested in the dually version,  and i have no problem with it being modeled in blue, the finished truck would actually be blue.

Truckaddict, I checked out the dually it is partially started and missing some parts, but may be able to be basicly built. Most of the parts missing are small detail parts underhood. The chassis has been built and the rear axle is broken, but fixable. Bodywise, it has been assembled and primed, and the dual fenders are on the bed, but could be removed.  If  you want, I take some pics of it if your interested in trading, and what would you have for possible trade?

Here's the dually, like I said it is missing some small parts and I don't have instructions for it, either.

Fenders are removeable to make stock bed (one fell of while I was taking the pics, haha):

that kit deffiently looks like something i could work with, even if it ends up a curb side.   i didnt see the hood there, assuming it is though im willing to work out a trade.   I have lots of kits mostly newer stuff, but a few old amt kits, such as the old lil red express and 84 gmc 4x4.  i also have everything from minis to semis.  if there is anyhting your looking for i can check my kit closet for something to trade

Truckaddict, the hood is in the box, everything bodywise (hood, grille, lights, glass, bumpers, etc.) is there and the amt 84 GMC 4X4 is something I would really like to trade for. I will send a private message to you with my mailing address and send me a private message with yours and I will try to send the Nissan to you sometime this week.

I just wanted to let you know I also copied the instruction sheet for the stock version for you on my scanner so you would at least have some type of instructions for the truck.

I can't believe it, that is the exact kit that I cut my finger on. If anyone else is reading this thread, I would also be interested in buying this kit if someone else has one available.

I don't remember it being a dually though, funny. I think I must have just made it regular.

I want that exact kit too, anyone else have one?

Sorry, king, but I'm fresh out except the black stock one I'm going to build. Hope you find one, though, because, as with most of these Lingburg 1:20 kits, they build up pretty nice.

Any updates on the hardbody kits? I am planning on doing a replica of my truck, minus the grey doors. I will probly use the xe-v6 decal.

Hi, I am trying to build the original kit that my father has. We just found the kit, but there are no instructions to be found. If you have them is there a way to email pictures of the instructions to me.
