for those who know about about desert trucks/prerunners youll know that this guy's work is dead-on. For those of you who know nothing about off-roading, or desert racing specifically, this guys stuff is what the real trucks look like. He even has bypass shocks. Bow

I live in the high desert in SoCal and see these trucks all the time. This guys work is dead on. I've thought about attempting one of these. I can only dream of mine coming out that nice. At least it gives me some reference & ideas

I live in Hesperia, right next to Victorville. There are desert trucks everywhere from mildly modified daily drivers to full on race trucks.

Wow, this is too strange.....
I started a thread here, "Offroad racers"Cool
due to the fact I was trying to draw attention to
(using some of Dave's work, but I could'nt get the pics to post)
"Desert Racing Modelers" which
I started after "Meeting" Dave online, Funny story there too....
(He Like I had for many years, thought HE was the ONLY person
building Off Road Racing models)
anyway, My system was down for awhile, and I come back online
and find all this....
Glad to see it (Dave's work) getting some praise........Big Smile

Hey, could you guy's quit with all the location talk ?
I really, really miss SadSOME of so. Cal....Barstow (Stoddard Valley),
Gorman (Ahh, Hungry Valley), Johnson Valley,
Lucerne Valley, Pismo Beach, Red Mountain / Randsburg... etc.,
I now live in the Arizona High Desert Mountains, within sight of the
Beautiful "Red Rocks of Sedona" and I would'nt trade it back for anything,
but I really do miss being so centrally located in the offroad racing community, and having the ability to visit such favorite places.

Oh yeah, that dude definately has it going on. I have always wondered what the General Lee would look like leaving the launch pad over a creek. now i know it won't look cheesy.

I love his action shots...
