Yeap I'm stupid, what does "CBP" mean Disapprove And can someone tell me about this, is it a contest, or just to build and show off the results.

CBP means Community Build Project
Just a group of people that are building the same model (AMT 55 Chevy Cameo in the thread below) or building something of the same subject (current Emergency Vehicle CBP). Its just for fun and hopefully everybody benefits from other peoples ideas and techniques.
Check out a little of this thread and Im sure you will understand Smile:

Its not a contest. Just everyone building the same kit and sharing their trials and tribulations. Then we share the fruits of our labors when we are through. I am still working on my 55 CPB even though its over with cause I had gotten busy at work and could not finish in time. I bought a digital camera also so I could post pics. Hope to finish soon. So you see its very laid back. We are here to just have fun and fellowship with other plastic

Don't feel stupid, Bob. I didn't know what it meant, either. I figured someone would ask or explain it sooner or later. You did, so now I know. Smile
I married my wife for her looks, just not the ones she gives me when I bring home new model kits.

flahotrod brings up a good point here. The only stupid question is the one you didnt ask. I am just now getting up to speed (well sort of) on all the forum acronyms. I had problems with these below until I finally asked and they told me.

LOL = laughing out Loud
ROFL = Rolling on the floor laughing
IMHO = In My honest opinion.

There are a few more that I learned but this is a "G" rated site so I will leave them

So dont feel bad at all for asking. Thats what we are here for. A place we can go and get input from alot of people whether its scale modeling or just a few questions about internet lingo. Smile
