teriyakisaki, I just posted some pics under a new topic. How you like. I started life as a boiler tech, then was forced to become a machinist mate. I'm currently stationed in Mayport Florida.

Really nice piece. Looks like a lot of work went into it. High quality.
I'm hopelessly addicted to building models. Not finishing them, just building them.

Hey Metalhead5,
Come check out my Yahoo group Desert Racing Modelers
Very Nice work there, we'd love to have another talented member !!
I started it as a way to "connect" however many of us ( off road modelers)
there are out there, and am alway's looking for more !
Then Dave and I got Matt's (Lookout Models) attention, and he was into the
idea of doing decent off road tires for us, then that grew to include other parts
as well.......
I do really hope you will consider joining up with us ?
please email me @ your convenience, I'd like to talk...

I'm trying to get more pictures posted, but right now the site I use to host my pictures isn't allowing me to post new pictures. Have contacted them to see what the problem is. Please bear with me. Thank you for all the comments.

I found some awsome trophy truck and offroad models at Yahoo groups.
desert_racing_modelers group.
Check out the photos.
Dave Baldwin does some awsome work-these trucks and buggies are as close to real race rigs as I have seen.
Also checkout lookoutmodel.com in the off road section for resin tires for such projects.

Trophy Truck

This a truck that started life as Nascar truck. the only parts left of the kit are the body, interior roll gage and used the engine. Everything else is scratch built. The models is fully wired and plumbed for brakes, fuel, cooling, oil system. The picture that you see is before the body was stripped and repainted and new decals applied.
