Very nice "rusty" build.  Your weathering technique is really good.

I build models because I can't afford the real thing!

Hi, I used a California hauler 359 kit for the main truck unit, I purchased the needle nose body kit from american industrial models, the trailer unit was completely scratch built by myself using sheet ply and other scraps of wood, apart from the wheels which were from another California hauler kit I had spare, took me about 3-4 weeks to create all this, wish I’d taken photos as I went! Thanks for the comments

One of my favorite older films and the detail on this is striking. Now you just need to build the Plymouth. :)

My favorite color is clear. I am also ambidexterous, I can screw up equally well with either hand. I am 53 years old and been building for most of that time. :)

On the bench... somewhere. Pink Panther show car, 1978 Dodge Magnum Charger Daytona Midnight edition SE 300. Mongrel T.

Yes, it definitley reminds me of the movie "DUEL". Great job recreating that truck from hell. Now you need to make the 4 door red Valiant that Dennis Weaver was driving.
