Roadkill Super Samurai ''Super Sammy''
Posted by 80'NascarCollector on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 10:40 AM

Roadkill 440 powered Samurai.

This built is special to me because I love the show, but it allow me to meet David Freiburger, Steve Dulcich and the crew from Roadkill.

I also had a crew member comissionned one as it the real ''supersammy'' was special to him.

I live up north on the east coast in Canada near ottawa. Few weeks back me and my wife deceided to go to Vegas for 4 days. Its was our first West Coast trip. She wanted to go see Celine Dion. I said no problem.....skipping emails back and forth with ''Brad'' about my trip to Vegas and asked if I could go to Steve's place. (were they film Roadkill Garage'')

And all ther stars were align because I could meet Brad, Steve, David, Meat the dog and the Super Sammy. (as well as others roadkill cars)

This was a priceless experience.

Anyways, I use a Fujimi Suzuki Jimny body and frame, Arii Challenger wheels/tires and a Revell Charger 440 cui engine.

I tried to be as most accurate as possible. The first built took 1.5 months and Brad's i'm 1 month in. It the first time I ''recreate'' my own built. I do admit, that i'm way better the second build!

Excellent , those mopar boys are so much fun ! They did a promo visit over here in the UK , but I couldn't make it sadly .

I've just watched the latest (FREE one) on youtube with the '71 burnt bird .

I was in stitches when the fan bolts were rubbing / sparking on the waterpump .

"Its good , shut the hood & lets go !! "
