WIP: Starting a 77 Ford Van

Haven't got too far yet, just TONS of cleanup on the parts from this very tired old mold. The van body itself looks great, but everything else has LOADS of flash. Kit does have the nicest pad printed tires ive seen in a kit. I saw this van at my (kind of local) hobby shop, and had to have it. I recall seeing pictures of one just like it that my dad had during the "van craze" of the mid-late 70's. I'm thinking of painting it a metallic root beer color i have in a spray can.... I can't paint crap right now, I have a broken femur and can't use my chair stair lift to get down to my paint booth and supplies. (I'm in a wheelchair, paralyzed ) this is week 5, the doctor says my leg won't even begin to heal until week 6. So I'm at the kitchen table with my spare snippers, a sanding stick or two, and some glue. Nothing else. Trying to clean up all the parts And assemble everything I can without painting... not much to see yet, shout out to my brothers in the Downriver Model Car Club (Michigan)

Ugh. They changed something on imgur and I cant figure out how to share individual pictures on my phone (on Imgur) ATM... have to fix tomorrow on a real computer
