Mack Superliner with Lowboy & CAT Dozer
Posted by TonyO on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 12:12 PM

This is one of my older builds. Mack Superliner tractor, resin rear cab panel and step box, scratchbuilt cabguard and rear half fenders, kitbashed 3406 CAT engine & rear spoke wheels, photo-etch nameplates & badges. Trailer has a scratchbuilt neck and deck built with Plastruct I beam with rear suspension from the AMT Lowboy trailer. Trailer deck from basswood doll house flooring. Dozer is the AMT D8H with a scratchbuilt ROPS (roll over protection structure). This tractor appeared in the SA 2010 Contest issue along with a dump trailer, it has since undergone a minor rebuild.

WOW that looks great!  Well done, all the details and colours look realistic and convincing.  You must have put a lot of hours into what is really three models.  I'm not into trucks, but this model of a loaded rig is superb.  Cheers

A build of that quality would take me a couple of years. Love the dozer.

Looks Incredible as usual Anthony! I really like what you've done with the dozer!
