Starting an old firetruck.

Plus the radiator is in too.

Got the chassis brushed semi gloss black.

 

Also did the running boards  and rear arches because I ran out of gold!

 

The rear body is horrible and BRITTLE so am using ca on it!!

 

The kit dates to 1964 btw,

Wheels on,till now they have just been set in place with  wood glue.

 

Side bins and lights & bells on.

 

 

Pump gear etc,

 

 

 

 

Finished apart from some paint and decals.

I gotta say you have an interesting assembly process. It seems you like to check everything for fit before painting. I kept thinking," He's not leaving it that color is he?" and the next pic shows you didn't There are times I wish I had done a test fit of things beforehand but its not somehing I do very often. Does the wood glue just peel off the plastic?  And finally,  neat build.

Thanks Mike,not sayig that I dnt jrust mfrgs but been burnt before! and re the white glue,once set/cured it is like a booger - just roll N flick!Laugh
