Ekstensive Metal Works 1970 F100 “Coyote Ugly” Replica WIP
Posted by TATTOOTONY on Sunday, June 03, 2018 11:43 AM

Here is the start of another 1/24 scale Replica, it is Julio Garcia’s 1970 F100 “ Coyote Ugly “. Which was fully customized by Ekstensive Metal Works, this rolling artwork is jammed packed with every bell and whistle. Down to the powerhouse of a FORD 5.0 - 32v with a Pro-Magna Charger, which as you can see in the pics. Will have the air-ride suspension which was also done by Ekstensive AND the paint was by Pristine paint&body. This build already has my LEGENDARY MINIATURES 1/24 scale RACELINE “Burst 5“ plastic replica wheels. Yes I have several WIP’s in progress, with a lot of custom work that is needed and hard to achieve at times. It is mentally healthy to work on another build, when your trying to figure out how to capture the other detail when theres a mental block. Thank you for checking this WIP out and open to all questions and feedback...

Tony, will be watching this one closely. I am building the 72 blazer and have been thinking about ditching the 4x4 suspension and bagging it. Can't wait to see the suspension.

I can't leave anything stock!

Damn ! That puppys low Big Smile

Here's one of my slammed monstrosities Mischief

( The Vincent HRD will be staying stock ... for now !! . might do it as a drag bike later !!)

As you can see , this is a Rat Truck that was a nice stock '60's Chevy ....

I had the body in a box for years with no chassis , so I butchered a diecast Maisto one , cos I'm a cheapskate !

The "ficticious garage"  is called CBA... says it all realy !

The motor is a front drive Olds (Hurst Hairy Olds motor with 'some additions ' )

for ease of access to rear !

As someone who’s seen this truck in person it was an absolutely awesome build and probably my favorite of that generation f-series. Good luck on it. Looks awesome already.

Notstock thanks bud this will definitely be an interesting build due to the 1:1 truck all The badges & trim are actually airbrushed by Maxwell Auto Design so I definitely want to capture that look he gave it.

Thank you Spencer yes this F100 sits extremely low due to the Air-Ride suspension that Ekstensive custom built. And I definitely like that Rat Rod C10, now that is definitely a pebble pusher!

Yes Sirace this truck is amazing in person and the power under the hood is breathe taking when it gets up and goes. Julio Garcia has seen the progress, and is liking how it coming along.

Hey Andy... long time no talk bud, we definitely need to catch up in person with a meeting with everyone ( SLAM ). PM me and I’ll get you my new cell number... Iam also glad I’m back at it, very relaxing and all the ideals come to me during the day at work and I just want throw down on building each detail. But as Buggs would say a subtle build from time to time, is also effective as a full blown detailed build. I guess decide which direction I want to go with this specific buil, with doors all open or closed?
