I pulled this out of storage. It's held together well for being over 10 years old (didn't have re-glue too many parts) Wink. This is the first truck kit I attempted when I got back to building again after several years. It was a slow but, smooth build that took over three months. I did have to re-fubish the decals on the truck bed. Thanks for looking!

Very nice job, extremely well executed.  What paint colour is that blue, if you don't mind, it looks so right for that build and era.  Thanx, and cheers.

Looks great. One thing, the engine if stock should be a meduim gray color.

Thanks for asking Steve. I used Testors Dark Blue. No clear coat was added to to make it look more flat and period. The engine color is probably incorrect as it is more of the current color used in later engines. I should have done more research. Thanks for pointing that out Midnight, good catch.

Stunning . I was on holiday in Arizona , on my way to the Grand Canyon - as you do.... & in Williams , there was one near identical colour , but "patina'd" -down a little back street . Lost all my photos on a PC crash....

That's a very fine looking old truck. The paint sheen looks perfect. Nice tidy build.

After considering it many times, I finally bought this kit. I haven't decided how to do it just yet, probably Street rod style.
