Uncle Bill's old 4x4.

I tried as best as I could to recreate the truck my Uncle Bill had when I was about 8 or 9.

1975 GMC sadly his was a long box, but I built it with the short box Revell kit. It needed to be a bit darker green but he said it was almost spot on.

I like to work just as much as I don't.

Nice ! Love those tyres ! I immediately thought of The Fall Guy TV show ( Hmmm Heather..... ) and googled a kit - MPC's one was a SWB , but the show was a LWB !

I needed the 8 ft box, but I couldn't find a proper kit. so it's just a little cooler then it was back in the 80's.

MAD (Morgan Automotive Details) has an 8 foot box, designed to work with the MPC GMC Deserter pickup kit.

Yours came out very nice and clean. Nice tribute to your uncle.
