First truck Purchase in 15 years ...

Got his exquisite beauty today. Pretty hard to find in the UK. I know they did an Australian version to which I'd like to find.

The odd and slightly annoying thing about this kit which I've noticed is that the blue bit of the flag on the side, you have to mask off and paint yourself. The decal sheet for that part of the cab is clear with white stars to slideover the top of the blue paint. Why not just give us the blue graphic with stars !!

Because unlike some Robin hoods,I can speak with an english accent...

Good looking truck. I have never seen that kit before.

Personally, I like the idea of having to paint the blue and I wish many more kits were made this way. The fact that the stars are on one piece clear decal to be laid over the blue paint is kind of wierd, but at least they can be cut from the clear and applied individually. I am always annoyed when kit decals include large panels with smaller graphics, when it would be much better to paint the main colour and apply the smaller graphics as stand alone decals.

Could you install Roo Bars that fold down to allow access to the engine and cab lift ?

Interesting.  I've never seen a triple axle tractor before.  I'd like to see this one come together.  Watching this space...

Just keep picking away at it...
