A resin trans kit . Needs the the AMT 69 Oldsmobile for the suspension and the 70’s JoHan Oldsmobile cutlass for the glass.

Luckily I had a scrapped cutlass otherwise would of had of shelled out for a new kit. Unfortunately I didn’t have a spare 69 Oldsmobile and they’re quite expensive now. So I used a whole chassis from a 1970 442 that I had kicking around . I had to chop it down though.

Anyway, it’s a good casting but you do need several donor kits for the wheels, chassis, glass and head lights and mirrors and you have to chrome the bumpers yourself for which ( I used a Molotov chrome pen).It even comes with decals for the badging .

I based this on one I used to see as a kid . At some point I’d like to add widewhite stripes down the hood and tail gate .

Nice looking EC!

Having owned and restored a 77 the only things I see with the casting is because he used a Nascar Chevelle the nose has a downward slant which was an alteration for nascar. The Sides of the bed are a bit too tall, rear window is too short in height and bed detail like the heighth of the wheel well humps and the bulkhead detail is wrong. That aside it is great someone is at least trying to fill a void!
