THat's right, even a few stints in the hospital hasn't kept me from working on this.

Progress so far :  The bed is smoothed, and wheel-wells widened.

My messed up 1st chop from 17 years ago has been fixed.

Front clip has been modified.

Paint is done. Looks nice in photo's, but in the sunlight?   Holy ****. Looks great

Paint is Testor's rattle-can black metallic, followed by 4 coats of Tamiya's rattle-can Gloss cleaer pearl.

Lots' more to do, but I have those thughts I thunk while in the hosp....    : )

Thank-you, Sir!

This was my 1st attempt at a chop, and I botched it badly, and so it sat. But I was inspired to pack it out of the garage and try again.... 'cause of you guys.

Still a lot of challenges on this as I usually use a map, but I'm flying blind here, hoping tht I choose the correct squences to build this out.

Thank-you for your well-wishes.... trully appreciated. Almost didn't make it back home. But I did.     : )

I hope that you are well today, and tomorrow, and long beyond that. It's so very nice to know that our friends care.  Most of us on this forum, are older, long-time hobbyists, and can relate to each other.

So thank-you for your well wishes, as I wish them on you.

I woud love to setup a weekly, maybe monthly, or whenever..... Voice on voice line, to talk about skills and ideas.  I'm probably not alone on this. and maybe there already that I don't know about.

Regardless,    Dennis

Hi Dennis! Very cool build. Don't let the health issues get you down.i am a paraplegic but build every chance I get. I'm so glad I got back into the hobby around 7 years ago. Take it one day at a time brother. God bless!

G'day Dennis.  That's a very tough looking Chev ute you have there, I'm looking forward to seeing her finished.  Best wishes for your health problems.  Cheers.
