76 Gremlin X...U.V.
Posted by DRIPTROIT 71 on Friday, February 10, 2017 8:06 PM

This began as the Monogram Jeep CJ-7. Then came the AMT Gremlin X. The tires are from Arrowhead Accessories, the wheels are kit wheels from the parts box that I widened, the engine is a combination of parts from both kits.

Very cool Gremlin. This build sure brings back memories. There were a couple of these 4x4 Gremlins running around back home in the 80s. There was  Javelin and a Hornet too. Seems the AMC cars were prone to this treatment, though I seem to remember a Pinto and a Cadillac also. Anyway, love your build. It really nails the look of these off road creations. Cheers.
