Chevy Step Side
Posted by Rodrigo on Monday, February 06, 2017 12:02 PM

Hello friends, another completed model.

I modified many parts, suspension, wheels, tires, bumpers, I changed the 350 engine for a 427, Camaro Z / 28 inspired painting, wood in the bucket and many other details.

It took me a year and a half to finish.

I hope you enjoy it.

I started with this kit.

And it was like this.

Man, it came out real nice. Paint color, wheels and stance came together really well.

Very nice build.  I've always wanted to make a 2wd of that kit.  What did you use for a donor on the front suspension?

Thanks for the comments

The front suspension came from a Revell 57 Bel Air

Very nice truck, Rodrigo, I like the uncommon colour, and your engine detail looks spot on.  Cheers.

Very slick.  Did you paint the Chevy logo on the bed or decal?
