Our automotive group decided to do a military theme build, so I decided to dust off an old truck that I have been trying to finish for over a year and just wasn't liking it, but now it has a purpose.

I bent up some brass for the cargo canvas netting and then drilled holes in the box sides to put them in.

I learned how to make tissue canvas with pva glue. it worked really well and is easy as 123

after some paint

I'm going to start weathering and create the decals. It's a quick fun little build.

I like to work just as much as I don't.

Sadly no, but that's ok. It's on a 4x4 either.

managed to get some Taimya weathering master and tried it for the first time on the canvas. It came out ok.

still slowly plugging away at the truck.

lol I used flower print TP, worked great. I was told I should have used Kleenex as it stands up to moisture better, but the TP Held. No slipping the fingers through this timeLaugh

Nice work on the canvas. That looks great.

Great idea! The convas top looks very realistic.

Gotta say, though, I always see these in a convoy, so you better get busy and make a few more, LOL!
