'37 ford convertible suicide door hinges (need help)
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, March 17, 2005 10:08 PM
im building the '37 ford convertible & trailer kit, ive already cut the doors down, now i need to figure out how the hinges can be hidden behind the door panel. If anyone has done this i need all the help i can on this. I have pics of a car at a car show i went to that was chopped, shaved and airbagged and suicided and gave me one hell of an idea to do it to this car.

The car at this point is still somewhat stock, im figuring out what powerplant i want in it, stock, viper powered or the dual-blowered engine that came with the studebaked kit, it will be low & tubbed & possibly the truck may be opened if the body can withstand the cutting to it.

Any help will be appreciated.

ok, well today i got the idea down and finally got the doors hinged. I had to sit and think on it a few days, the above link did help a lil, but not the way i wanted to look. So what i did was take and look under the DubCity F-150 supercrew at the hinges on it and went from there. Will hope to take some pics soon of the projects & other things ive finished.
