Revell VW Golf GTI II

It has been awhile since I built a model car. This one I took my time doing and its still not done but my inexperience comes out in its flaws which I will take. I am proud of it though for what my experience is and how I will continue to improve.

I still need to place the side mirrors and tailights but I haven't figured out how to put the decals on or to paint the taillights.

Question though, I used spray paint for most of the parts and did not use a primer and I noticed some of the paint coming off when I over used the testors cement and it got on the paint. Why is that?

Love Golfs! Primer is a pretty important thing to use to help the paint adhere to the plastic.Glue will always attack the paint even if a primer was used first.

Your Golf is nice, take your time on it and it will come together.

I have a resin conversion,a V W Caddy it is rather nice and is marketed by Hiroboy.com

Will build most anything, love American cars muscle etc.Britishvehicles are a buzz too, trucks are great - want to do a jet truck, building parts up...
