Subaru XT Coupe Photoshoot
Posted by unofficial_stig on Thursday, July 07, 2016 10:17 AM

Instead of going to sleep at a reasonable time last night, I decided to mess around with my camera and an old tripod I dug out. Coincidentally, I also finally wrapped up the finishing details on my weird Subaru. I decided to set it alongside my CR-X and get some detail shots.

I have a couple shots of the interior too, feeling very blue. My idea was to rationalize the RHD layout by saying this was a contemporary Japanese Grey import, or something along those lines. Plus my prop 1985 cassette tapes didn't print very well, so I had to toss them out.

And a couple more shots of the CR-X.

Okay, I believe the links are fixed. I think dropbox changed their settings on me and I couldn't embed the way I used to.

Those were neat cars, way ahead of their time. Wonder where they all went?

Who makes the Subaru XT turbo kit???  I had a silver 1986 XT turbo that was only front wheel drive that I bought from friend for only $500.  It had an oil leak into the turbo assembly.  After replacing just about everything on that car over the next couple of years we ended up selling it to a family member who abused it and then abandoned it.  I miss that car.  Almost 40 MPG and fun to drive.  I would love to make a model of the old car if they are available.

P.S  Great job on the interior!

last build: 1971 Pontiac GTO http://cs.scaleautomag.com/sca/modeling_subjects/f/29/t/123803.aspx
