Hey Notstock THANKS.... I will not let this one die out and you can see the other replicas following this build. I will start another thread for the 1970 Ford F100 very soon. Also I felt the same way about not finding quality Billet looking style wheels for 1/24- 1/25 scale models. So definitely look me up via Email anthonylopez78@yahoo.com and we will discuss everything there. Put in subject box your username from SA, look forward to hearing from.

I am glad to see that this one didnt just die out. Outstanding work. Looking forward to seeing it finished. Also I am very interested in your wheels. I have looked all over for billet style wheels and have had no luck.

I can't leave anything stock!

Spencer thank you for the kind words of inspiration, yes I’ve thought of a lot different methods to get real working Tv’s. But being that this specific Hummer is 1/25 scale its actually a smaller body, so three 1” Nokia screens would definitely be hard to cram in along with wiring. So I had to settle for still picture screens, not only that I don’t want to deal with handling it to much. Man hit me up with that build once you get it going, I’m definitely intriguied to see that Chevy van.

Glad to see you're back & cracking on with this amazing machine Tony ! I saw on another forum somewhere that you can now get tiny 1inch square screens with memory cards that are programmed with the videos of your choice ....( I guess someone brought up all the old Nokias Wink )  - That would look so freaking cool on this big ol' Hummer !!

I'm in the process of doing Cheech & Chongs White Chevy van with working hydros from an old AMT ??... kit ( with swingarms & motors) and I need to find tiny smoke machines .... or a foam one ...." Mischief Hey Maaaaaan That's Soap !" :-)

It has been a very long time since I have posted any pics on SA, a lot has happened since then. With Hurricane Harvey that flooded our city and surrounding areas, with the magnitude of work required of me from my job & family responsibilities. I had a lot on my plate to recover from and building slowed down drastically, I have managed to come up with my new line of 1/24 scale plastic model wheels. And blessed to be working along with Raceline & US MAGS wheels with their designs, I have come up with replicas of their wheels. That all being said I managed  put many man hours into body work on the Hummer, along with that Ekstensive Metal Works has aired in November 2017 on cable Tv with a hit series “ Texas Metal “ on VELOCITY. And from what I hear thru social media a 2nd season has started filming with a cameo of this specific 2004 Hummer H2 I’m stoked to see the up coming season. Everyone knows building a plastic model is not easy when it comes to body work, if done wrong you can get highs & lows in the body and will show once painted. So it took a long time to get everything packed down, and capture all the details that the Ekstensive crew put into it. Here are some update pics you can also follow progress on my Instagram or my blog for more details. Like always thanks for checking it out and hope to hear from familiar names...

Well, if you already have a yahoo account, you already have one terabyte of free image storage on Flickr; catch is, you'll need to get the BB code for an image (under "share") and strip the <img> URL to post that image here, unless there's an easier way to do it now?

Well as you can see all my pics are NOT available on this build and past builds that I've had on ScaleAuto for years... All courtesy of PHOTOBUCKET who has recently gotten greedy and will not allow me to use their site/app. It will literally take $40 a month for them to allow me to post 3rd party pics on ScaleAuto... I'm sure I'm not alone cause I see other builds have the same message... so any suggestion?

You are Sick ! !

And thank goodness you are ! This is stone Cold Awesome ! Now I don't feel so bad about doing all those greeblies on my Boat builds . ( You know my primary modeling focus is Ships and Boats . Cars I do for the release from the ships . )

 I usually don't do the level you're into unless pushed . I haven't done this since 1978 when I did it on a Pontiac Trans-Am 455 H.O. - T - Top in brass and plastic , for a lawsuit . My lawyer client  won too !

Boy , that was a nice paycheck ! This 1/8 scale beast had Glove leather seats , working brake - back-up lights and headlights and blinkers . The  Car was one of the tests I have faced over the years in large scale models .

With you I can live vicariously again . Keep on keeping on ! !   O.C.G.

Man I can not Thank Y'all both ( aliasT.W. & Moparlover64 ) enough for the great things that are said about the work that has and will continue to go into this build. Moparlover when I say this I speak for many others thank you for your service and OUR FREEDOM! Yes I myself have had projects like you come and go, which I regret letting go without a doubt... and thats including 1/25 scale builds! Im sure there are those out there asking when will this build be done? Well it never fails when I look the build over and look at 1:1 Hummer pics and see I left something out and challenge myself to scratch build. Im trying my hardest to close this up, and cant forget FAMILY LIFE that comes first above everything. Here are some more progress pics, I cut out the retractable outlet as you see in the first pic. Then out of very thin and mean very thin styrene made the strap along with the buckle. Also a close up pic of the seats inside the hummer, I gave the armrest depth by scrolling them out with an X-acto knife. Yes def alot of rough plastic but hey its a W.I.P,and will all come together in finally paint/assembly... Thanks again for checking GAME OVER out!

Finished a lot of cars truck and such for others .never have managed to finish mines b4 someone had to have it worse I had to deploy so I sold. the last one to go last month was my 20yr project 72 charger. Traded body and parts for this 41 I have 2 engine and trannys and a 9And a quarter rear left. A new 380horse 318 and built 727 and an unbuilt 413wedge 3600miles. if I can't get this one done b4 this disease gets me I've had the pleasures of building models and other peeps dream rides and serving my country I'd say with my family I've had a full life. Never seen this level of detail in a model I'm ready for school now. And I'm a mechanic/mechanical engineer /soldier/auto painter/hobbiest . in awe happy modeling

thank you Moparlover64... I finally got Photobucket to do something about my upload errors. I have put alot of detail into this specific build for many of reasons, and reading everyone compliments makes it all worth the man hours that have gone into it. Here are pics of the Ekstensive Metal Works crew and myself ( bottom row left hand side ) along with the fully customized 2016 F150 that we worked on for SEMA 2016

I have more Hummer updates coming very soon, I didnt want to go over the pic limit. Here I scratch built the seat belt out of styrene, and the strap will posted up soon

Thanks again to everyone that taken a look, and all comments are def welcome...

Thank you Aussiemuscle308

I do apologize that I have not posted up anything in about four months. I have been working on the hummer, unfortunately my photo bucket keeps backing up with errors. I've been addressing this with Photobucket, trying to get it fixed so I can post progress pics. Crossing my fingers hopefully here in the near future,  during that time I did get to experience several months working with Ekstensive Metal Works. Thank you to Bill,Tim, Rudy, Derrick, Jamie, LouLou, ( Ekstensive crew ) I was able to learn more in depth tricks of the customizing trade from the legends themselves, which who will soon be on a TV reality show on  VELOCITY  " TEXAS METAL " season one around October 2017. I did get to meet new great people while working there, and have many more model builds lined up, for instance  Julio ( Mr. Leon ) Garcia 1970 F100 " Coyote Ugly ". Which was also customized from the ground up by Ekstensive Metal Works crew.... Thanks everyone for reading and again I will post picks up once Photobucket  cooperates, and I will have a Instagram account set up here pretty soon too....

Bugs-one thanks bud I'm actually trying to load up new progress pics and of course Photobucket is not working correctly hope to have pics on here soon

Ok here are the pics finally got Photobucket to work... So I was not happy with the tow hitch I built sometime ago, I cut it out completely and scratch built like EKSTENSIVE Metal Works did to house the license plate. I truly want to catch the most detail as possible before I even start on the body work, so sorry if the progress is slow BUT hey like Ive heard before Slow Progress Is Better Then No Progress. Thanks for checking out the progress and leaving feedback!!

TnT thanks for the positive feedback... with work and family it's been about 2 months since I've got shop time and an update! So here is the mid-range speakers door pods, and when adding more into this replica everything requires its own space. And not easy cause the doors still have to function, so it took some definite planning to get it done!...

TATTOOTONY

Rusty32Rod I'm hoping for the same that the Hummer will soon be on a contest table, and I would definitely like to meet you bud! And thanks for the compliment...

JustMike thanks bud I have plenty more to pack detail and of course the General Pearl Paint,  mimic ostrich seats, and fine tuning ALL the chrome engine parts...

TnT thank you I just saw your Mercury, now that is extremely clean. And I will definitely like to see the work you put into it, and personally know the Mercury kit. I built one myself not to long ago, it's actually here under sleds  category...

Thank you guys once again, this weekend I'll have more updates. I think I might be working on the door panel mid-range speakers.... Along with the seat belt assembly, and if time ( wife & kids ) permits just maybe the custom grenade gear shift

Dude, you are like a model building guru. Looked at your merc. Untouchable. Hollywood is calling. Great work.

Then I went ahead and added the storage pockets that are directly behind the front driver & passenger seats. They are both spaced to give the realistic look if you wanted to store something in there. And just to give it a tad more detail I made the seat controls and track rails... Thanks for taking a look

Was able to get more shop time in, here are the pics that I mentioned about a week or so ago. As you can see the mid-range speakers in the pillars, right behind the headrest ( rear seating ). Also the sub-woofer box " fiberglassed " the subs are  NOT there for now until final assembly. Pics may not be superb but hey I got in close as possible that I could...

JustMike and Mad Slammer thank you guys for the cool comments, I'm trying to capture as many details as I can on this 1:1 replica. I did some "fiberglass" work on the sub-woofer box and mid-range speakers in the rear seating area, which when I get better pics I will post them. When this build acts up and gives me trouble I take time off and work on my other project Ekstensive Metal Works  2 door Tahoe " TURBAN "... but HUGE thanks again for taking a look at my WIP! All comments are appreciated
