Hey bro I'm following your thread, Buggs would talk alot about getting his 1:1 Impala on the road. And how he wanted the set up in the back and I'm sure he will be honored knowing your doing this project... I'm missing the big jokester already!!

Thanks for the comments guys. Tony, I know what you mean, I'm going to miss him calling me and telling me to bring a kit over, staying there in till 2am and b.s. ing so much that we didn't even touch the kit.

I got the interior mostly done, with the kit decals and some bmf, it details up really nicely. I had a steering wheel with a separate chrome horn ring in my parts box, I can't remember where it came from.

I had painted the engine and took it into the garage to dry and dropped it behind the freezer, so when it comes out of the purple pond, I'll give it another try.

More next time.

Thanks Lowlife.

I got the engine done. Mostly out of the box. The air cleaner is from a '62 BelAir, I foiled the fan and pulleys so they'd look like chrome, and put a little black paint on the bottom of the oil filter so it would look like a fram filter.

I'll be using the Foose suspension to get it nice and low. I painted it and a few other bits black.

I also made some plates.

Hey bro... Looking freaking awesome, the sutitle touches are what catches the eye. Especially with the Fram oil filter, and definitely liking the Plates... This build is going to be phenomenal and how BUGGS would have built his 1:1 Impala...

   Coming along nicely!

Yes I second that! Rusty32rod this is coming along nicely, that rolling chassis with the engine mounted up is down right superb...! And the interior looks freshly stitched off the ole sewing machine... Keep up the great work Andy

Avidinha ...bro to see it all together, it is exactly how Buggs would of wanted his 1:1 built. I definitely agree with rusty32rod, Buggs is smiling down looking at this knowing you nailed it to the "T"...
