Very nice. I'm not a huge fan of water cooled VW's but yours looks good sporting that color and sittin low like that. Good job.

I love building models.

Another shot of the exhaust finally mastered heat staining exhausts, better result with alclads than with the tamiya weathering system

Very nice!  WHAT YEAR is this Rabbit supposed to be; 1979?  Is it Rabbit accurate or is it really a Golf?

Great build and color choice! The rare ATS wheels are strong.

Yeah those wheels look great and so does the entire build. Excellent work on the engine bay detail! Did you lower it or is this how it sits out of box? I am thinking its lowered, how easy/hard was it to do so? I do believe "Rabbit" was only used in North America? If so then it must be a Golf. I had a new Rabbit GTI in 1984 and I loved it even coming from the air cooled VW crowd. Didn't have it long; a few years later an Eagle Talon caught my attention and that was that. That was an ugly car that went and handled like a bat out of hell though.

Again great build! Is this the same kit as the Revell Germany Mk 1 Golf?
