Looking good so far.  I have both of these in my stash, so I'm looking froward to seeing what you think of them as they're built.

I am also looking forward to seeing the Supra built, as it's one of my projects this year.  Got it for $5 at the local hospital auxiliary store(Gucci's!)  Since I wouldn't know 'The Fast and the Furious' from 'The Slow and the Amiable', it will be nice to see someone else's build.  Thanx!

Someone once told me that there were engines other than the Chrysler Hemi-but thats just crazy talk!

Thanks for the tips and you both have good looking F&F cars, the supra is almost at the same stage as the eclipse. I did more engine detailing on the eclipse and it looks much better..... but then this morning it took a tumble off the shelf and one wheel broke off and some engine parts fell out. Don't worry it has been fixed and is as good as new. I will post some pics later today.

Ill be using the same colour i used on my nomad... Scarlet for the supra:

DSCF0055

And for the Eclipse just lime green.

by the way i use these paints: http://media.supercheapauto.com.au/sca/images/9530.jpg they are cheap and work well for me.

Thanks all, appreciate the comments. the eclipse is painted green, just gotta do the black around the windows and in the engine bay then its decal time.

Well the Eclipse body was painted and i hand painted the black trim around the window because usually when I mask off something the tape removes paint. Then i put on the decals and painted and assembled the interior. then a little glue and a few more bits and:

DSCF0492

DSCF0496

DSCF0493

I tried to take a pic of the interior but couldn't get a good shot.

This kit was good there were only a few problems I had...

-the kits engine could have done with some more detail. I made mine better by adding wires and painting it like the movie one. (the instructions said for it to be basicly all black)

-the body wouldnt sit right on the chassis (could just be mine) I fixed it up now all good

overall a good kit and fun to build.

The supra is at this stage:

DSCF0510

DSCF0511

The blue is for the blue inserts in the seats and door trim. just gotta mask it off and then paint it flat black.

Should be done in a few days. Let me know what ya think.

more progress soon....

Supra is at this stage:

DSCF0516

DSCF0518

The roof piece has a bit of dust under the paint work so it will need fixing.

The bumpers and hood have the final coat on them.

Body will be painted tomorrow morning and the day after the whole car should be done.

let me know what you think.

More progerss soon.....

DSCF0530

Not bad for my first import/tuners but i think i will stick to muscle and classic cars for now...

I'll also be doing the 70 charger from F&F. Ill be using the revell 69 charger with the AMT 70 charger front (I'll post in the muscle car section when i get it in the mail... maybe in a week or so...)

Let me know what you think.
