Try www.goarmy.com and choose Army racing. There are some photos, though not very detailed.

Try looking for pics of "Top Fuel Dragster" All the engines are pretty much the same. You could try "engine" at the end of the previous. I've built the kit. I was able to look at the real thing for referance. I just took sketches. I kick myself in the butt for not taking any pics. When I get a digital camera I'll post pics.

Hey! I may be chiming in kind of late for the subject but if you go to autoimagery.com you will find over 80,000 photos of current drag related pictures from the last three years of NHRA seasons. This site covers every event from beginning of the year to end and every category, including top fuel, from every event. If you want excellent detailed pictures of a modern top fuel engine then your on choice should be the book "Top Fuel Dragsters" by Robert Genat. It is a paperback book, all color, and it has very detailed photos of a modern top fuel engine. It is put out by MBI Publishing Company and you can find it at www.motorbooks.com. The approximate price is $14.95. The level of detail is well worth the price. If you have any additional questions e-mail me at wayne4880@earthlink.net.

This is about as much as I can help. Heres a pic of the front of the engine. Took it at the big auto show in Atlanta a couple of years ago. Had I been into building during that time still I would have gotten much better reference pics. It's a little dark. Hope you can use it.

Randy - this might be a little late, but if you go to the NHRA website and look under the '2004 NHRA Media Section. At the bottom of the page, there's a link to the 2002 Media Archive. Click on that and then go to CAR SHOTS (Top Fuel Dragsters), and pick out Tony's car. It's a great photo, but because it's for the Media, it's a large file so it may take a few minutes to completely download (on dial-up connections!).
