Heres the old AMT Novacaine funny car. It went together well considering its age.

Looks great and awesome paint job.
Where do you get all the great kits to build, such as this one.
Do you have a stockpile,as most of us do,or do you buy off ebay?

AWESOME!!! Funny car models used to be my preferred modeling subject back in high school...back when most funny cars had NAMES (Chi-Town Hustler, The Blue Max, etc). Seeing your excellent Nova flopper brings back those memories and almost makes me wanna hunt down some olf funny car kits to build again!!

Great looking F/C! I wish that kit was still available!
I love Funnies with stock looking bodies. Kind of reminds me of
Willie Johnson's car.

Willie won the Injected F/C class at this past weekend's Funny Car Reunion. I would really like to do a replica of this car.

I've always enjoyed that car myself. Never got around to building one in scale though. Heres another pic of it...

Nice one - the old funnies kept their characters before aerodynamics and wind tunnels came along. They're planning to start a nostalgia funny car class over here in 08 and I'm looking forward to it!

Excellent build, great body for a F/C. I have friends that run a Nova bodied alcohol F/C with the IBAA. They run mid 7's and tour western US and Canada. Here's a link with some nice pics.

Another Awesome build from your bench, Chris. Especially nice because I've never actually SEEN a novacaine built-up. This is a great build of a VERY rare and valuable kit. i wonder if AMT still has the molds for the rest of the parts to do the Novacaine version, or if they were destroyed to make the current "Old pro" kit.
Peace, Chris Remember When real cars were made of metal and models were made of plastic? Now real cars are plastic and models are metal! "Have any good freakouts lately?"

How many times can I say "beautiful job as usual". I guess as many times as you keep turning out excellent builds like this. Great job.

Thanks everyone, i had a great time building it, i was suprised how well it went together for such an old mold. They should have kept the molds for this one it would be a great re-release. I got this one off Ebay, and have seen a few here and there, but the temptation to build it was too much!
